Palmerston North is the transport hub of the central North Island with extensive air (both International and National), road and rail links servicing both our resident/tourist as well as our commercial industrial needs. Palmerston North Airport is noted for its excellent record for all weather operation.

With the richly fertile Rangitikei Plains rising to the ski fields of the central plateau to the North, bordered to the West by rolling surf beaches, and to the East by the winter snow-capped Ruahine and Tararua Ranges, the Manawatu Region abounds with scenic and recreational activities.
